Regarded as the most ludic canyon of the Vésubie valley, La Bollène is practicable all the summer season like in the spring according to the rains and the snowmelt.
Its descent is punctuated of very varied landscapes : fairy-like vegetation and charming mineral universe.
This course is a canyon of intermediate level because all the jumps and slides of great height can be gone down by abseil.
Not asking any first experiment, it address however to sporting people knowing to swim.

Description of the canyoning activity - Canyon de la Bollène
The meeting point with your qualified instructor will be on the car park of Dorgane area located at 2 hours driving from Castellane or 1:30 from Nice.
You will receive a neoprene suit, a helmet and a harness, and your monitor will organize cars shuttle with the participants in order to go to the beginning of the course.
By a 5 minutes approach walk you join the departure of the canyon, where you will be equipped completely with your wetsuit and the security equipment. The instructor will present the activity and will explain you the instructions to cross the canyon in full safety.
Jumps, abseil, swim and walk are linked during 2 hours as far as the 1st slide of 12 meters.It is followed by another one where it is better to jump or to go down by abseil.
Then come the lunch break which is located halfway, where you will be able to make use of one relaxing moment.
The adventure continue with jumps, walk and swim to reach the 3 last abseils .
Afterwards, 15 minutes walk in the forest will finish the trip to return to the car park of Dorgane area.
The stream in this canyon evolves according to the seasons and to the rains. That implies that certain obstacles can be more difficult to cross. We will let you know about it.

How to come:
- From CASTELLANE (04120 - Alpes-de-Haute-Provence): Follow direction ST JULIEN / ST ANDRE (D955) Before the village of ST JULIEN, at the stop sign, turn right towards NICE (N202). Cross ENTREVAUX, then PUGET THENIERS, TOUET ON VAR and always follow the direction of NICE. On the road M6102, turn left towards LE CHAUDAN / PLAN DU VAR / LANTOSQUE. Then turn immediately right towards NICE on the road M6202. Before PLAN DU VAR, at the roundabout turn left and follow direction LANTOSQUE (M2565). Cross the villages of St JEAN LA RIVIERE and LE SUQUET. Cross LANTOSQUE following ST MARTIN VESUBIE and soon after, park on the AIRE de la DORGANE, on the right side of the road. Count around 2 hours 10 minutes.
- From MARSEILLE (13000 - Bouches-du-Rhône): Join the A8 motorway towards NICE. After CAGNE SUR MER, take the exit 51.1 direction DIGNE and take the M6202 road. After the village of PLAN DU VAR, turn right at the roundabout on the M2565 towards LANTOSQUE and ST MARTIN DE VESUBIE. Cross the villages of ST JEAN LA RIVIERE and LE SUQUET. Shortly after the village of LANTOSQUE, the rendezvous point is on your right on the AIRE de la DORGANE. Count around 3 hours.
- From NICE (06000 - Alpes-Maritmes): Join the M6202 road direction DIGNE. After the village of PLAN DU VAR, turn right at the roundabout on the M2565 towards LANTOSQUE and ST MARTIN DE VESUBIE. Cross the villages of ST JEAN LA RIVIERE and LE SUQUET. Shortly after the village of LANTOSQUE, the rendezvous point is on your right on the AIRE de la DORGANE. Count about 1H20 of journey.
- From GRASSE (06130 - Alpes-Maritmes): Join the A8 motorway towards NICE. After CAGNE SUR MER, take the exit 51.1 direction DIGNE and take the M6202 road. After the village of PLAN DU VAR, turn right at the roundabout on the M2565 towards LANTOSQUE and ST MARTIN DE VESUBIE. Cross the villages of ST JEAN LA RIVIERE and LE SUQUET. Shortly after the village of LANTOSQUE, the rendezvous point is on your right on the AIRE de la DORGANE. Count about 1 hour 45 minutes.
